法國時尚品牌Dior Homme日前宣布前Louis Vuitton男裝藝術總監Kim Jones接替Kris Van Assche卸任後的職缺，如今Louis Vuitton也宣布，新任男裝藝術總監由Virgil Abloh接任，立即生效，而他上任後的首場發表會在6月巴黎男裝週時舉行。

1980年出生於美國伊利諾州的Virgil Abloh，在威斯康辛大學麥迪遜分校（University of Wisconsin Madison）取得了土木工程學位後，又在伊利諾技術學院完成了建築碩士學位，他在此習得了現代設計原理以及跨界創作的概念。
Virgil Abloh在2012年時推出作品《Pyrex Vision》，並創立了個人品牌Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh™，2013年時，品牌首度推出了男女裝系列，從2015年開始便定期參與巴黎時裝週。
別的潮牌靠大Logo，這家卻偏要拼細節和面料！一個義大利人創造的美式潮牌Fear of God是這樣異軍突起的

Virgil Abloh也在全球主要設計機構如哈佛設計研究院（Harvard Graduate School of Design）、哥倫比亞建築、城市規劃與歷史保護研究所（Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation）和羅德島設計學院（Rhode Island School of Design）展出作品。
曾在2015年闖進LVMH Prize青年時尚設計師大獎決賽的Virgil Abloh，2017年獲得了英國時尚獎的都會精品獎。2019年，他將會在芝加哥當代藝術博物館舉行大型展覽，展出自己的新舊設計。
