美國知名經典品牌與剛起步的新銳品牌居然共同舉辦發表會？美國服裝品牌Oscar de la Renta新任創意總監Laura Kim與Fernando Garcia雙人組合迎來上任後的第一場大秀，同時身兼新興品牌Monse創辦人的他們，在這次發表會上做出一項創舉－讓兩個品牌共同發表，創造出更有趣的觀秀體驗。
Monse的模特兒率先登場，帶來的是顛覆經典的作品，以閃亮黑色燕尾服布料和硬挺的灰色人字紋布料製作成帶有荷葉邊的解構襯衫和洋裝，卡其派克大衣搭配亮片裙，同時還有紅、黃、藍等明亮色彩的絲絨服裝，搭配上54俱樂部的抓褶輪廓線條。時尚現在最愛的性感部位－肩部自然也成為展露的重點，每套服裝肩部的布料都不安份地消失了。Monse能夠走紅實非僥倖，他們在性感暴露與顛覆時尚之間找到了一個可以發揮的甜蜜點。

接著銀色的簾幕背景揭開後，燈光轉亮，電子音樂讓會場氣氛突然活絡起來，Oscar de la Renta的模特兒終於現身。這些服裝更加高貴簡約，不管是俐落的正裝、奢華禮服還是線條流暢的雞尾酒禮服，Schiaparelli粉紅、深紫及奶油色等配色更讓這些服裝看來有滿滿的氣勢。

穿上這些明亮的服裝絕對能讓人成為人群中的焦點，這是過去40年來Oscar de la Renta一貫的風格，也是Oscar de la Renta先生能為多位第一夫人設計禮服的主因，除了從賈桂琳甘迺迪（Jackie Kennedy）到蜜雪兒歐巴馬（Michelle Obama）這些第一夫人之外，包括喬治克隆尼的妻子Amal Clooney等名人也都是Oscar de la Renta的愛用者。

Oscar de la Renta先生在2014年以82歲的高齡去世，他原先指派的下一位設計師Peter Copping雖然具有才華，但卻沒能很好地延續Oscar de la Renta的設計表現，在缺乏突破性成果之下，今年夏天品牌決定由Laura Kim與Fernando Garcia接手。
Laura Kim與Fernando Garcia在共同創辦Monse之前，曾一起在Oscar de la Renta工作10多年的時間，從Monse的作品中也能看到他們在Oscar de la Renta所受到的啟發，Monse的美學方向與Balenciaga類似，都是將平日所穿的服飾加以顛覆解構，創造出前所未有的時尚。

在行程擁擠的紐約時裝週，Oscar de la Renta與Monse的共同發表替傳統的時裝秀帶來一些創新的氛圍。Oscar de la Renta從Monse那兒得到了更多話題性與新鮮感，Monse則是得到財務投資與更多營運上的協助，兩者可以說是相輔相成。當然最重要的，是兩個品牌都能省下一半的時裝秀成本，何樂而不為。

她在這則貼文中寫道，「我們很開心能帶給巴黎的觀眾驚喜，面對面的跟他們說聲『日安』，尤其這個國家就是這故事的創作發源地，同時也是貝兒的出生地，@oscardelarenta的共同創意總監Laura Kim和Fernando Garcia在他們的第一個系列裡，打造了這襲英王詹姆斯一世時期花朵刺繡全絲硬緞馬甲背心，搭配有機絲質羅緞腰帶和有機羊毛長褲，這全部的裝扮都是由Oscar de la Renta在紐約市的自家工坊所製作， @burberry在義大利以有機絲手工製作的高跟鞋，時尚資訊都經過@ecoage的核實 #ecoloves。」
