2015年服飾典藏館的《中國:鏡花水月》(China: Through the Looking Glass)吸引了81.5萬的人潮,隔年的《手工x機械:時尚科技年代》(Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology),也為博物館帶來75萬的參觀人次。

(The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology,簡稱MFIT)館長Valerie Steele,在分享策展經驗時表示,每個展覽都有想要傳達的核心訊息,出發的角度各有不同,她自己習慣以文化史及人類學的角度出發,讓觀眾看見時尚發展的歷史結構,其他策展人有些喜歡以純粹美學的角度切入,但不論風格為何,在有限的展覽空間中,要編織出動人的故事,需要的是對主題的深入研究,完整的敘事架構,及良好的場景製作。
