(#ad) Physical books or ebooks? Lately I’m drawn more to ebooks. Shocker, I know. But it’s so much easier to find about the book I want and have it sent to my tablet in seconds. You gotta love technology, especially when 80% of my life revolves around my laptop and my phone. I also love when I can easily find new book recommendations (please, make my TBR list longer than it already is). Finish the sentence: I like it when......I find that the theme of the book box that I was sent, @beaconbookbox , is one my one fictional obsession: superpowers. I think everyone knows at this point how obsessed I"m with stories about superheroes/supervillains so I won"t start talking about it for the 17th time.Funny thing, I did not steal this pic idea from James. Actually, it was the other way around. I like it when, after snapping at each other "don"t steal my ideas" (without really being serious about it), one of us comes with with a new idea for a pic, and the other one is like "can I use this too?". Usually the answer "Yes, but I post it first". However, I let him post it first cause I"m a good friend. Praise me. Going back, I loved this box! It"s a fairly new book box but they are doing a great job. I"m using the rice eye mask almost every single night and I loved the tea. I love when the boxes contain useful stuff. Also, the book was The Supervillain and Me by Danielle Banas which I haven"t read yet because I have some busy days, but I can"t wait to start it! What is a pet peeve you have regarding the online community in general? What makes you mad?Today"s post is a rant post. I"m the kind of person that not only googles herself :)) but also reads all the comments when she"s reposted, especially on Facebook. And boy I love to do that! Most of the comments are positive, but there are some negative ones and 99% of the time they are about the fact that I"m disrespectful because I"m stepping on books/breaking the spines. Now let me tell you what I think. Almost all my books have broken spines. I don"t like struggling to keep the book open so I"ll break the spine if I"ll have to and I am no less of a bookworm for doing that.I underlined some of my books (looking at it now, it is pretty useless because it"s close to impossible to find that quote again, but oh well). What"s wrong with that, they are my books! But, the most important thing - I do not consider any part of my body as being "dirty". My feet are just as worthy as my hands. It"s because of my feet that I can walk, run, bike, travel the world - so don"t tell me I disrespect the books if my feet are touching them. I love my feet just as much as I love any other part of myself. The value of a book is in the story it carries, in the message, in the ideas it spreads. If you throw a 100$ bill in the mud, it will still be a 100$ bill. It"s the same with a book.
