這套具有船型領的簡約婚紗，運用最能凸顯圓形雕塑感的雙面真絲卡迪（Silk Cady）製作，禮服僅有六處接合，向後延伸出的曳地長拖襬，底下用了三層絲質烏干紗襯裙營造量感。

長達五公尺的絲質面紗，邊緣的花朵圖案都是以絲線與烏干紗手工刺繡而成，刺繡工匠投入了數百小時縫製不打緊，他們在縫製時，還得每隔30分鐘就要洗一次手，以確保面紗和絲線潔白無瑕。
以英女王為首的大英國協成員國，未來將會是哈利王子和梅根王妃的主要工作重心，因此梅根希望在整個婚禮的過程中，大英國協的所有53個成員國都能與她同在，也藉此感謝自己能有貢獻一己之力的機會。

Clare Waight Keller於是決定將大英國協每個國家的獨特花朵圖案，融入到面紗設計中。光是在研究要使用哪種花朵，就讓製作團隊耗費相當的時間，Clare Waight Keller也投入大量的心思以確保每朵花朵都能獨特呈現。
除了大英國協的花朵之外，梅根也另外挑選了兩種她最愛的花朵：在肯辛頓宮諾丁漢別墅（Nottingham Cottage）前生長的蠟梅，以及梅根出生地加州的州花—加州罌粟花。
